Opening Up Access Across The Pettus Ranch
Brush Clearing & Ranch Road Construction - Bee County, Texas
Overgrown brush and limited accessibility were preventing the landowner from fully utilizing large portions of Pettus Ranch. Thick vegetation had restricted movement throughout the property, while the lack of a well-defined road system made it difficult to efficiently access key areas for ranch operations, maintenance, and recreation. The goal of the project was to open up the property, improve accessibility, and establish a reliable road network that would serve the ranch for years to come.
Raines Development began by clearing overgrown brush throughout the property to create visibility, improve usability, and reclaim valuable acreage. Selective clearing helped open up the landscape while maintaining the natural character of the ranch. By removing dense vegetation and improving sightlines, the property immediately became more accessible and easier to navigate.
With the land opened up, our team constructed and improved a comprehensive ranch road system designed to provide dependable access throughout the property. New roads and travel corridors were established to connect key areas of the ranch, allowing equipment, vehicles, and property owners to move more efficiently across the land. Careful planning and grading ensured the roads would provide long-term functionality while complementing the natural terrain.
The completed project dramatically improved access across Pettus Ranch and increased the overall usability of the property. What was once a difficult-to-navigate landscape is now supported by a well-connected road system that provides access around the entire ranch. Through strategic brush clearing and road construction, Raines Development helped transform the property into a more functional, accessible, and valuable asset for the landowner.
